Hello!

My name is Louis Derrac. For nearly 15 years, I've been interested in the challenges posed by digital technologies in our societies. In particular, I explore the challenges of technocritical digital education and of an acceptable digital world. You can discover all this on my website.

On this blog, I want to develop a broader, more personal space for expression. To talk about transitions, politics, ecology, technology of course, but also music, culture, and even parenting and "neo-rurality."

My ecosystem

Beyond my website, which forms the backbone of my web presence, I maintain and take care of a coherent ecosystem (in French) that lets me present my services, share resources, and offer technocritical digital education.

My living environment

Since November 2023, I've lived in a small town of 4,000 people and I consider myself a neo-rural. I'm very happy living where I live, but I'm also aware of the privilege of being able to live here on these terms. I work from home, doing things I enjoy. Thanks to the internet, I can read, write and communicate with the whole world. I travel very little, and to be honest, I feel less and less inclined to. In short, I feel like I have the best of both worlds.
